Still a few housekeeping items that may need attention
USA Hockey Registration:
Please be sure to add your child's USA Hockey number to their profile in Crossbar. Updated numbers have a 5 as the 4th digit. Players without updated USA hockey numbers will not be allowed on the ice. This needs to be done prior to the season so that rosters can be submitted. To add the number login to your account on the FYHP website and click on your child's profile. Then scroll down to the "Associations" section and click on the "+Add" button.
Consent to Treat Forms:
Please fill out the Consent to Treat form, which you can find on the website under Resources >> Forms. These should be handed into your team coach or manager.
VHL Registration:
All Jr. Flyer players must register on the VHL website. The registration form will verify your child’s 2024-25 USA Hockey membership as well as generate and issue a unique VHL Player ID for the current season. Only players with a 2024-25 VHL Player ID will be able to be placed on an official VHL team roster. Your VHL Player ID will grant you access to your team's schedule.
Framingham Player Registration
Neck Laceration Protection: One final reminder that this season all players will need to wear neck protection for both practices and games. To clarify, a neck laceration protector that is “designed for that purpose” is a piece of equipment that is specifically designed to protect the neck area from cuts and abrasions while playing hockey. All goalkeepers must wear a neck laceration protector in addition to any optional equipment they wear to protect the throat and neck area from shots.
Any player not wearing neck protection will not be allowed to take the ice. There are a few types that can be used and you can find the USA Hockey info on this https://www.usahockey.com/playersafety.
