CEP (Coaching Education Program) Trainings
Instructions
For coaches only - you must attend a Coaching Education program (CEP) by Jan 01.
All coaches must enter USA Hockey's Coaching Education Program at Level 1, and must continue their education with a coaching clinic each year until, at a minimum, they achieve Level 4.
- *Coaches for 8U teams should remain at Level 1 until they start coaching an older age level.
- A coach may attend only one (1) certification clinic per year.
- Once Level 4 is achieved, coaches will need to complete 5 credit hours of continuing education within each subsequent three-year period"

Please note: You do NOT have to take a clinic in Massachusetts. This means that if there are virtual or in-person options available in other states, you may register for them.
Typically, there will be sessions through November, but they fill up fast. Register for a course as soon as you can to reserve your spot. Keep an eye on the USA Hockey course listing page as new trainings are added frequently.
