Bruins Learn To Play 2025

This program is open to children ages 5–9 who have never played organized hockey before. Participants will receive age-appropriate instruction focused on skating, puck handling, and the fundamentals of the game.

The Boston Bruins are thrilled to share their passion for hockey with the next generation of hockey players. All players must be between the ages of 5-9 years old at the time of registration and be able to skate on their own, unaided..

A full set of hockey equipment, valued at $550 retail, is included as part of the registration fee. The equipment can be fitted professionally from head to toe by Pure Hockey so your kid will be fully protected and ready to hit the ice.

Fall 2025 – Loring Arena, Framingham, MA

• 4 weeks of on-ice instruction from certified coaches
• Saturday 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25 at 9:00AM
• Focused training in skating, puck handling, and hockey fundamentals
• A fun, supportive environment to build skills and confidence

The $225 registration fee includes:

• Full set of equipment to keep (valued at $550 retail)
• Pair of skates
• Professional, personalized fitting
• Four weeks of on-ice instruction led by certified coaches"

Eligibility:

• Ages 5–9 at the time of registration
• Must be able to skate on their own (unaided)
• Not currently registered with a USA Hockey Association (except Learn to Skate)
• Cannot have completed the program before

Please note: Children registered with a USA Hockey Association (with the exception of Learn to Skate) or who have previously completed this program are not eligible. All registrations will be reviewed. Please check in with your local rink on skating lessons before starting the Boston Bruins Learn to Play program, as all participants should be able to skate on their own, unaided.
