Good day FYHP Community-

FYHP has partnered with Play It Again Sports in Dedham for jersey (and other gear and swag) ordering for the 2023-24 season. Jerseys are $55 each and can be ordered online at the FYHP store: fyh2023.itemorder.com.  

The deadline for jersey orders is SUNDAY, JUNE 11.

Jerseys are required for players 8U to 19U playing on any of our Junior Flyer and Lady Flyer full season travel teams.

Our Learn to Play, Midget House League and Winter Midget players do not need to order jerseys at this time.

Our equipment manager, Mark Lysaght, and a representative from Play It Again Sports will be in front of Loring from 4-8 pm this Thursday, June 8th for fittings. Please bring your player along with their shoulder pads to the rink if you want to get fitted for a jersey. You can also go to the PIAS store any time for a fitting (606 Washington St, Dedham). If you go to the store, you will receive a 20% discount on anything you purchase in the store during your visit (discount does not apply to jerseys or gear sold online).

Jersey logistics:

All players need to have a white and a blue jersey. If your player has jerseys that still fit and are in good shape you do not have to order a new jersey at this time. Jerseys can be ordered at any time if your player damages or outgrows their jersey mid-season. ($55 regular order; orders that need to be rush delivered may incur an additional fee, which will also be the responsibility of the family).

This initial deadline is for jerseys that will be delivered before the season starts. The store will reopen in July and remain open all season but those orders will not be available at the start of the season.

Roster numbers are assigned by the program. Players cannot request a specific number. The player will have the same number for the length of time they play consecutively with FYH. Numbers are assigned by player birth year. Even year birth dates get even numbers and odd years get odd numbers, so there are no conflicts across a 2-year band. (The program will handle any potential conflicts for 3-year mites and girls playing both with a Lady Flyer team and a co-ed team on a case by case basis).
